Our company has rolled out a lot of new printers. For ease of reference for end users logging tickets, I would like only active CMDB items to appear in the search option. However, I do not want to simply delete the retired CMDB items as I still need them for reference purposes. I can't see an "active" option so don't know how to make the item inactive. Is it possible to mark unwanted items as inactive so that they dont appear on the list of the items? How do I make it invisible without deleting the record?
